So then, I haven't done many changes to Wravend recently as my time has been eaten up by the run-up and arrival of my new daughter Kate. That's not to say I haven't thought of any enhancements, more that I haven't sat down to do any long periods of development.
One of the aims of the original design was to allow a user to rapidly change a sound and move between the various options - this is effectively why the app is effectively a single screen, rather than having to select draw mode for example from a sub-menu or pop-up. Perhaps this is design mistake, you can only edit a single waveform at a time, so what difference does how you access the functions make? The more functions I try to add at the bottom the less drawing space you'll have.
Nonetheless, my intention would be that if I add additional functions that they should remain easily accessible from the initial screen. I'll see if that pans out. My first thoughts are to add a few more oscillators in there:
This would be to allow you to simultaneously have amplitude and frequency modulation as well as a second voice and some subharmonic control (!?), as well as the existing envelope, filter and mixer.
I also have to think of a decent way of allowing you to overdub and/or remove loop recordings, as currently every time you press record it stops whatever loop is currently playing and replaces it with a new recording.
So there you go... progress is slow, but not forgotten.

Wravend available!
Right then, I wasn't expecting the app I posted for the iPhone to be live quite so quickly - and now it's out there already without much supporting information...
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id576242759
I'll try and get some explanatory videos posted up as quick as I can.
UPDATE: Hmmm, I see now that it would have been better if I had set the 'iOS Deployment Target' to a lower value (4.3) to allow this app to run on a wider range of devices - currently it will only work with iOS6. I'll have to see if I can rebuild and update this in the app store.

Hello!
Right then, this is a page to store information on my various attempts to squirt sounds out of a computer via various tools, programming languages and my smartphone apps.
